Where we do store your Personal Data in “third-countries”, we will take additional steps in order to ensure that your Personal Data is treated just as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the Data Protection Legislation as follows:
Direct interactions by you and we use Cognito Forms to securely collect and manage your personal information in compliance with GDPR. Cognito Forms 5 uses TLS 1.2/SSL encryption and is always accessed over HTTPS 100% of the time for all users and is hosted securely on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, which is PCI (DSS) Level 1 and HIPAA compliant.
We may also process information from information providers, such as AML Search or Steele TransparINT platform, in the course of which your Personal Data may be transferred outside the EEA but kept secure.
We may also store personal data in the HubSpot platform which is hosted on a leading cloud infrastructure provider AWS. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2, TLS 1.3)and encrypted at rest (AES-256), has a web application firewall, DDoS protections, and annual penetration testing.
We may also share data using Safe4. The servers used are secured using TLS with files being encrypted using AES-246.
Wewill use specific approved contracts which ensure the same levels of Personal Data protection that apply under the Data Protection Legislation. For further information, please refer to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The Briars Group uses industry-standard SSL certificates to encrypt website traffic to safeguard all data sent and received. We maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures targeted at the protection of your personal data from unauthorised or unlawful use, and against accidental loss, damage or destruction.

The security of your Personal Data is essential to us, and to protect your data, we take a number of important measures, including the following:

If any Personal Data is disclosed to fulfil the purpose of the processing and therefore transferred outside of the UK or the EEA, Briars will take suitable steps in order to ensure that your Personal Data is treated just as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the Data Protection Legislation and where necessary, relevant Standard Contractual Clauses will be executed.
8. How long is Personal Data kept for?
We will only retain your Personal Data for a limited period of time and for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which we are processing it for.
